when’s the last time you congratulated yourself? and i’m not talking like a mental health day (those days are essential though) i’m talking about you really just sat down and just looked at nothing but the four walls around you and told yourself “i’m really making shit happen” or something along those lines? we always have so many things to get done, once we finish one thing we scratch it off like it’s part of our hit list and it’s time to move on to the next target. why does it always feel that we gotta have someone tell us how good we’ve been doing lately for us to just think back the last few months and realize all the great things we have been doing? is it cause we’re so lost in the moment of the day-to-day that everything great we do just get’s strung along so casually? or maybe it’s cause we know good things are happening and we’re afraid if we acknowledge it, that it’ll end? but that’s why i’m here for, to ask the questions that need answers. so we don’t sit here trying to figure out why it is like this and can take pride in our achievements. we’re all making big moves everyday whether that’s for the world to know or just for your own personal self. never let that shit sit like it was something you just had to do. if it’s a defining moment for you no matter how big or small celebrate that shit. this time that we have we gotta enjoy as much as we can. i’m just now learning that and it’s someone out there that doesn’t understand that yet. but i promise you one day it’s just gonna click. when it does, you’ll never want to go back to not congratulating yourself whenever you get a chance.

so with that happy 25th rev, a quarter century already. i can't tell you where the time went but we here now. keep being you and keep your head on a swivel. and remember you're two years away from being two years away. let's go be great.

my stance different, man listen.
